Florida Keys Winter 2014 Trip

 

Our annual winter break trip this year brought us to the bottom of the Florida panhandle- to the Keys! This year was a spectular trip full of many geologic adventures. Our trip included going through the famous Everglades, making snorkeling stops, analyzing lithified corals, taking a beach day at Bahia Honda State Park, riding on a glass bottom boat tour through the amazing Molasses Coral Reef, and finally stopping at Florida State Caverns! This week long camping trip brought GeoClub members together and created memories that were surely unforgettable.
